Slkor is a fast-growing global semiconductor company with R&D offices in Busan (South Korea), Beijing, and Suzhou (China), and its headquarters in Shenzhen. Most wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing are carried out in China, supported by a dedicated performance and reliability laboratory and a centralized logistics warehouse to ensure global delivery efficiency.
The company has filed 100+ invention patents, developed 2,000+ product models, and serves 10,000+ customers worldwide. Slkor products are widely exported to Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, making it one of the most dynamic players in the semiconductor industry.
With well-structured management systems and streamlined workflows, Slkor has quickly elevated the global recognition of its “SLKOR” brand through high-quality products and standardized services. Its portfolio spans three major product lines—diodes, transistors, and power devices—while also expanding into Hall sensors, analog devices, and RISC-V microcontrollers, reinforcing its presence in sensors and smart electronics.
Slkor’s mission is clear: to combine innovation, reliability, and scalability to provide robust semiconductor solutions for industries worldwide.

First Impressions: Kinghelm Headquarters and Its Work Culture
Walking into Kinghelm’s headquarters in Shenzhen felt less like entering a traditional office and more like stepping into the core of a high-tech ecosystem. The atmosphere was efficient and precise, resembling a finely tuned network where every person contributed like a reliable node, transmitting focus and energy.
As a student of the Internet of Things, I immediately recognized the deeper significance: Kinghelm is not just a workplace—it is a key player in the invisible infrastructure of modern connectivity. The company specializes in the R&D and production of RF connectors, microwave antennas, and signal interconnection components. These “small” components are, in fact, the nervous system of today’s digital world. They enable high-speed data transfer, stable signal reception, and seamless communication across devices.
From consumer electronics to industrial IoT and automotive networks, the reliability of these components defines the performance of entire systems. Seeing Kinghelm’s solutions integrated into advanced technologies gave me a much clearer, hands-on perspective on the communication principles and sensor networks I had only studied in textbooks.

Understanding the Market: My Role in the Marketing Department
My internship in Kinghelm’s marketing department took me from the technical backend to the frontlines of the market. I not only gained hands-on exposure to the company’s broad product portfolio—such as the KH series antennas and connectors—but also learned how to transform complex technical specifications into clear, customer-oriented value propositions.
Through tasks like content organization and online promotion, I realized that effective marketing goes far beyond selling products—it’s about shaping brand recognition and communicating the true value of technology. I began to think from the customer’s perspective: identifying pain points in IoT projects and exploring how Kinghelm’s solutions could directly address those needs with precision and reliability.
This experience taught me that successful marketing is the bridge between innovation and end users, ensuring that technology not only works but is also understood and trusted.

Internal Training: Gaining Knowledge Beyond Engineering
The intensive and systematic training I received at Kinghelm opened a window into the broader business world, filling gaps that traditional engineering courses rarely address.
On the technical side, sessions such as “RF Coaxial Cable Essentials,” “Semiconductor Basics,” and product-specific trainings deepened my understanding of performance parameters, application scenarios, and even the upstream semiconductor industry behind Kinghelm’s core products.
From the customer and quality perspective, courses like “Handling Defective Products and Customer Communication” showed me how product quality and customer satisfaction form the backbone of marketing success—teaching me how to resolve issues professionally while safeguarding relationships and brand trust.
Equally valuable were the trainings on compliance and risk management. Learning about “Copyright and Trademark Protection” and “Contract Management” emphasized the importance of respecting intellectual property and carefully reviewing agreements to ensure both business health and personal career safety.
Finally, the “Foreign Trade Knowledge” sessions broadened my global outlook. Topics such as international trade regulations, cross-border payments, logistics, and cultural differences gave me a clearer view of both the opportunities and challenges of “connecting the world.”
This combination of technical depth, customer focus, legal awareness, and international perspective has equipped me with a holistic understanding of how technology and business intertwine to create value.

The Role of Leadership: Lessons from Mr. Song Shiqiang
These training sessions were like master keys, unlocking a multidimensional view of business—from product lifecycle management (R&D, production, sales, and after-sales) to market operations, legal compliance, and global expansion. I realized that true marketing excellence requires more than technical knowledge and market insight; it demands a strong focus on quality, legal awareness, and an international perspective.
What impressed me most was the management style of General Manager Song Shiqiang, who fosters curiosity and open dialogue, along with the patient guidance of team leaders and colleagues. Their mentorship allowed me, as an engineering student stepping into the business world, to grow quickly and experience firsthand how teamwork and shared knowledge drive innovation and success.General Manager Song Shiqiang of Kinghelm and Slkor
Final Reflections: The Lasting Impact of My Internship
Mr. Song Shiqiang, founder of Kinghelm and Slkor (www.slkormicro.com), is both a visionary entrepreneur and an inspiring mentor. His leadership shines through in two ways: forward-looking strategic insight and genuine humanistic care. He frequently engages the team in open discussions about company strategy, helping us understand not only the “what” but also the “why” behind key decisions—strengthening our sense of purpose and direction. At the same time, he practices people-centered management, respecting work-life balance (ensuring employees leave on time), and showing thoughtful care in daily details, such as flexible arrangements during heavy rain or commuting challenges. This combination of strategic foresight and human warmth reflects Kinghelm’s corporate culture, which values both innovation and people, earning the deep respect of all employees.
As my internship draws to a close, I realize how transformative this journey has been. Kinghelm gave me more than just practical experience—it broadened my vision, sharpened my communication and collaboration skills, and deepened my understanding of how technology moves from concept to market. The company’s systematic training in business, law, quality, and global trade expanded my knowledge structure far beyond engineering, giving me a holistic view of the commercialization process for advanced technologies.
