Stepping into Spring: SLKOR & Kinghelm’s Hiking Adventure

On March 22, 2025, over 100 colleagues from Kinghelm and SLKOR left their desks behind and embraced the beauty of the outdoors with a refreshing hike at Yangtai Mountain, Shenzhen. Under the warm morning sun, the team, fully equipped with hiking gear and high spirits, gathered at the Victory Rescue Monument for a group photo, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation.

Led by Zhang Hua, an experienced hiker from SLKOR, the journey unfolded as more than just a hike—it was a chance to reconnect with nature, strengthen bonds, and recharge both body and mind. Each step through the scenic trails brought a renewed sense of energy, teamwork, and adventure, making it an unforgettable experience for all.

After capturing our group photo, we set off in small teams, making our way up the scenic trails of Yangtai Mountain. Surrounded by lush greenery, towering trees, and the gentle rustle of fresh spring leaves in the breeze, the hike felt like an escape into nature’s embrace. The crisp, fragrant air carried the soothing scent of earth and foliage, creating a tranquil atmosphere that melted away the fatigue of daily life. With each step, we immersed ourselves in the refreshing beauty of the season, breathing deeply and embracing the revitalizing energy of the great outdoors.

Amidst lively conversations and laughter, the first group arrived at Lansheng Terrace, eager to take in the breathtaking views. Stepping onto the glass observation deck, they were met with a stunning panorama—rolling mountains stretching into the horizon, a landscape so picturesque it felt like stepping into a painting. After soaking in the view, they found a shaded spot to rest, relaxing together as they shared the delicious homemade snacks they had brought, making the moment even more enjoyable.

By noon, another team, after a determined effort, finally reached the mountaintop. As they stood at the summit, gazing at the breathtaking landscape below, every trace of exhaustion faded away. For many colleagues accustomed to long hours at their desks, this hike was more than just an outdoor adventure—it was a personal challenge and a chance to break free from routine. Step by step, they pushed forward, feeling the strain in their legs but never losing their enthusiasm. Leading the way, Cheng Yujie, Deputy General Manager of Kinghelm, and He Junju, Deputy General Manager of SLKOR, set a powerful example, inspiring the team with their resilience and embodying the spirit of perseverance that defines SLKOR and Kinghelm’s corporate culture.

After the descent, the group gathered at "Shunde Lao", a charming restaurant near Yangtai Mountain, where a delicious dinner awaited, thoughtfully arranged by the administration team. As colleagues sat down to enjoy the meal, the atmosphere was filled with lively conversation and laughter. Everyone was in high spirits, savoring the food and celebrating the day’s adventure. Observing the joy around him, Song Shiqiang, General Manager of SLKOR and Kinghelm, warmly remarked, “You all work so hard every day—tonight, eat, drink, and enjoy yourselves to the fullest.”

As dinner came to a close, the spring hiking adventure wrapped up on a perfect note. This event was more than just a physical challenge—it was a chance to unwind, recharge, and strengthen connections within the team.
