 The LM2575/LM2576 series are highly integrated monolithic switching regulators designed for efficient DC-DC step-down (buck) or step-up/down (buck-boost) conversion. These regulators deliver precise output voltage control across varying input conditions — line, load, and temperature — with minimal external components. The LM2575 supports up to 1A output current, while the LM2576 offers up to 3A, making them ideal for a wide range of power supply needs.

Each device includes an internal switching regulator and compensation network, simplifying power supply design. With just a choke, catch diode, and two capacitors, users can build compact, efficient power converters. Built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown offer solid protection against overload and overheating.
