Born in Xichong County, Nanchong, Sichuan, Yang jokes that he shares hometown roots with Song Shiqiang, GM of Kinghelm and Slkor—“our villages are just 4 or 5 kilometers apart.”

After arriving in Shenzhen in 2000, Yang built a strong foundation through two key stages before launching Weiyuan Tech in 2019:


11 years in large-scale manufacturing (1,000+ staff) for educational electronics (e-readers, learning tablets, digital dictionaries), where he rose to PMC Manager and gained cross-functional expertise in electronics, plastics, and packaging.


8 years leading production at a leading telecom firm, where he tripled manufacturing capacity through process optimization—until U.S. sanctions disrupted China’s 5G base station supply chain.

“After two pivotal chapters in my career, I knew it was time to build something of real significance,” Yang reflects.

Founding Weiyuan Tech in 2019—just as the global pandemic began—put that vision to the ultimate test. But challenges only fueled his momentum.

"As an engineer turned entrepreneur, I’m drawn to the toughest problems. PCBA system integration demands absolute precision, zero-defect quality, speed, and strict environmental compliance. That’s our niche: high-end, custom-built solutions that others shy away from or fail to deliver. I find far more thrill in chasing the 0.01% chance of breakthrough than settling for the 99.99% that’s safe."
