Born in Heilongjiang in 1984, Yu Jing moved to Shenzhen after graduating in 2007. Just a year later, she embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with her husband, Song Zhe, a native of Henan.

“We both started from nothing,” Yu recalls. “Coming from rural families, we had limited knowledge and resources and faced countless challenges. But with Song’s vision and determination—and by seizing opportunities with the help of supportive clients—we grew steadily, step by step.”

Yu Jing shared an interesting story behind the company’s name:

“At first, we named it Yue Jia, which carried a distinctive Guangdong touch. However, the name couldn’t be registered, so we added one more character, becoming Yue Jia Hong. Back then, people had to write company names by hand on checks, and some clients joked that ours was too long!”

She continued with a smile, “Later, Song came up with a simpler homophone—Yue Jia Hong—which means ‘ever more prosperous.’ It was catchy, easy to write, and perfectly captured our vision of expanding beyond Guangdong to a national scale. Once the trademark was approved, the name just felt right—and it has stayed with us ever since.”

This small naming story reflects the couple’s creativity, resilience, and determination—qualities that continue to drive Yue Jia Hong’s growth and recognition across China’s electronics industry.
