The SLPESD0402–30 adopts an industry-leading 0402 micro surface-mount package. Its leadless design not only saves valuable PCB space — perfectly matching the trend toward miniaturization in automotive electronics — but also enhances electrical performance and signal integrity, making it ideal for use in ultra-compact designs.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) remains one of the biggest threats to the reliability of automotive electronics. The core mission of the SLPESD0402–30 is to rapidly dissipate high-energy ESD surges, effectively shielding key backend components such as SoCs (System-on-Chips) and precision devices from potential damage. However, protection on GHz-speed data lines must not compromise signal quality.

Fully AEC-Q101 compliant, the device also offers excellent clamping efficiency, fast recovery, and low dynamic resistance (typical 0.8 Ξ©), enhancing overall system-level robustness under ESD conditions (IEC 61000–4–2 standard).
Finally, its mature automated 0402 assembly process ensures efficient, high-yield mass production, perfectly suited for modern automotive manufacturing lines.
