Slkor Launches Ultra-Fast SLESD323NC5VB ESD Diode in SOD-323 - Engineered for High-Frequency Signal Protection
With its compact SOD-323 package saving valuable board space, 30pF low junction capacitance preserving high-frequency signal integrity, and ±15kV protection capability ensuring robust device stability.

Slkor has released the SLESD323NC5VB series of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection diodes, featuring a compact SOD-323 package. Designed specifically for high-frequency data links in mobile devices, communication systems, and computer hardware, these diodes withstand ESD and electrical fast transients (EFT) with precise electrical characteristics and high protection performance, ensuring signal integrity and long-term device stability.
The device adopts an ultra-compact SOD-323 package (maximum dimensions 1.4 mm × 1.8 mm), significantly saving PCB space and meeting the layout needs of highly miniaturized devices such as smartphones and tablets. Its optimized packaging technology reduces parasitic parameters, and together with a typical 30 pF junction capacitance (test conditions: V_R=0 V, f=1 MHz), it minimizes interference on high-speed signal lines such as USB 2.0, VGA, and DVI — ensuring clean, “lossless” high-frequency data transmission.
Tailored for 5 V low-voltage circuit systems, the SLESD323NC5VB achieves an ideal balance of precision and protection: the reverse working voltage (V_RWM) is 5.0 V, aligning with the standard power supply requirements of consumer electronics and communication devices; the minimum reverse breakdown voltage (V_BR) is 5.8 V (test current: 1 mA), maintaining a high-impedance state under normal operation to prevent false triggering; the clamping voltage (V_C) is just 9.8 V at 1 A and up to 20 V at 25 A, rapidly limiting surges to a safe range to protect downstream ICs; and the maximum reverse leakage current (I_R) remains as low as 1 μA, reducing power consumption and helping extend battery life.
In terms of protection performance, the device meets IEC 61000–4–2 (ESD) certification, delivering ±15 kV air discharge and ±8 kV contact discharge capability — easily handling everyday static shocks caused by human touch and device friction. It also passes IEC 61000–4–4 (EFT) testing, withstanding 40 A (5/50 ns) electrical fast transients and 400 W (8/20 μs) peak pulse power, creating a robust “interference shield” for sensitive data links.
Thanks to its compact package and excellent high-frequency compatibility, the SLESD323NC5VB is widely deployed in applications such as high-speed interfaces (USB 2.0, VGA, DVI, SDI), end devices (smartphones, laptops, portable instruments), and communication systems (sensitive circuits in routers and base stations). It is especially favored by engineers designing solutions that require both “ultra-small footprint + ultra-clean signals.”
A representative from Slkor’s protection device product line commented: “High-frequency and miniaturized development is the inevitable direction for modern electronics. ESD protection must carefully balance ‘low interference’ with ‘high strength.’ With its 5 V operating compatibility, 30 pF low capacitance, and SOD-323 mini package, the SLESD323NC5VB aligns perfectly with the market’s growing demand for ‘efficient protection + high-frequency performance.’ Slkor will continue to deepen its R&D efforts to deliver more customized protection solutions.”
Currently, the SLESD323NC5VB series is in stable mass production, supporting 7-inch tape-and-reel packaging (3000 units per reel) for streamlined automated manufacturing.
