Slkor Launches SLESD0524P: DFN2510 Package for High-Speed Data Protection with Ultra-Low Interference

 In today’s era of widespread 4K/8K video transmission and Gigabit Ethernet, high-speed data links face dual challenges: maintaining signal integrity and ensuring electrostatic protection. Industry reports show that high-speed interfaces, such as HDMI 2.1 and PCIe 4.0, now exceed 20Gbps, and even a parasitic capacitance of 0.5pF can distort signals. At the same time, electrostatic discharge (ESD) failures account for over 35% of interface issues.

To address this, Slkor has launched the SLESD0524P ultra-low capacitance ESD protection array. Featuring a DFN2510 package and an ultra-low junction capacitance of just 0.2pF, it delivers a “zero-interference” protection solution for multi-line high-speed interfaces, safeguarding signal quality while preventing ESD damage.



As a transient voltage suppressor designed for parasitic-sensitive systems, the SLESD0524P delivers precise performance in high-frequency applications. Its reverse working voltage (VRWM) reaches 5.0V, making it compatible with mainstream low-voltage, high-speed circuits. The minimum reverse breakdown voltage (VBR) is 6.0V, ensuring normal signal transmission without interference. Its forward clamping voltage (VC) is only 10V under a 1A pulse and 15V under a 4A pulse, quickly limiting transient overvoltage to a safe range and protecting sensitive backend chips.

The standout feature is its ultra-low junction capacitance — just 0.2pF between I/Os and 0.4pF from I/O to ground — combined with a reverse leakage current (IR) of only 1μA. This resolves the industry’s long-standing challenge of balancing protection and signal integrity, maintaining flawless performance even in high-speed differential signal transmission.

For protection capability, the SLESD0524P meets IEC 61000–4–2 Level 4 standards, with contact discharge up to ±20kV and air discharge up to ±25kV. It withstands peak pulse currents of 4A (8/20μs) and peak pulse power of 60W, and complies with IEC 61000–4–4 (EFT) 40A (5/50ns), effectively resisting electrostatic and fast transient interference.

Its compact DFN2510 package (2.45–2.55mm × 0.95–1.05mm × 0.45–0.55mm) protects 4 high-speed data lines simultaneously, saving over 50% PCB space compared to traditional multi-device solutions. It supports 260℃/10s lead-free reflow soldering, meets UL 94V-0 flame retardant and RoHS standards, and is ideal for high-density PCB layouts.

All-Domain Protection: With ±25kV air discharge and ±20kV contact discharge, it covers extreme ESD scenarios in consumer electronics and industrial equipment. Each I/O can withstand over 1,000 ±8kV contact discharges.

Zero High-Frequency Interference: Ultra-low 0.2pF junction capacitance between I/Os ensures minimal impact on high-speed signals, making it ideal for HDMI, DVI, USB 3.0, and other high-frequency interfaces.

Multi-Line Integration Efficiency: The DFN2510 package protects 4 lines with a single device, replacing traditional multi-device solutions, simplifying PCB design, and reducing layout complexity.

Application fields of the SLESD0524P precisely target high-speed data interfaces: Serial ATA, PCI Express, high-speed ports of desktops, servers, and notebooks, MDDI interfaces, USB 2.0/3.0 power and data lines, as well as HDMI and DVI, performing exceptionally in 8K video transmission links.
